What's New in Circuit4 V1.4

This version of Circuit4 allows you to find resistors, inductors, or capacitors that are in series or parallel.

This circuit has parallel inductors, capacitors, and resistors. It also has series inductors, capacitors, and resistors.
To find parallel resistors click on F8:View, then on 4:find parallel, and finally choose 1:resistor.
Now the parallel resistors are highlighted. To find the next pair of parallel resistors click enter. Continue pressing enter to see all the parallel resistors until there are no more to display. At any time you can press escape to exit.
Notice that the value of the parallel resistors is 1/3. In this example each of the resistors has a value of 1 ohm.
You can follow the same steps to find parallel inductors. In this case each of the inductors has a variable for its value instead of a number. The values are ind1 for the first inductor, ind2 for the second inductor, and ind3 for the third inductor.
The value of the parallel inductors is displayed on the screen. The value is too long to fit on the screen. To see the entire value by itself press the [+] key.
The value is now displayed in pretty print. Press escape to go back to the previous screen.
To find series resistor press F5:View, then 5:find series, and finally choose 1:resistor.
This will highlight the first series resistors. Press enter to find the next series resistors. In this case each of the resistors has a value of 1 ohm. The combined value of the series resistor is 3 ohm as displayed on the screen. Follow the same steps to find series inductors and capacitors.
